OUR WORK

YCFA empowers youth to fight climate injustice by equipping local leaders with skills and resources to challenge corporate polluters and end extractive industries. We are particularly cognizant of our positions growing up in the imperial core and the actions of the country in which we live - its government, military, and financial institutions and corporations - which severely and negatively impact people and ecosystems across the globe. We aim to leverage our position here in the so-called U.S. to disrupt the harmful practices of institutions that perpetuate global environmental and social harm. 

Our mission is threefold: Stop the Harm, Make Corporations Pay, and Build a Liberated World. By supporting grassroots youth organizers, we nurture their transformative potential and cultivate a movement that challenges financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, and asset managers that continue to fund climate destruction. 

Through our Coaching and Organizer Support Program, we offer tailored coaching, strategic guidance, and skill-building to amplify youth-led climate action across the country. Together, we are building a strong, interconnected community of organizers ready to bring about radical change for a just future.
